Join Worship + Justice Movement for a Prayer and Worship Gathering focused around the problem of sexual assault in the state of Alaska and believe with us for God to pour out healing in our state.

In Alaska, 7 in 10 women have experienced some form of sexual assault. Our rates of childhood sexual assault are 2.5 times the national average and the rates of rape, incest and sexual crimes in Alaska continue to climb. It is critical for the Church, to bear witness to the brokenness around us and step into these broken places, bearing the healing, hope, and restoration of Jesus. In the midst of great darkness, His light is not overcome.

Addressing sexual assault in Alaska begins with the Church repenting for the ways in which we have partnered with the spiritual strongholds in the land through hypocrisy, lack of purity and acknowledging harms done to others by those who claimed to represent Jesus. We must cry out again for purity and holiness in the Church and radical obedience to His call to move outside the four walls of our gathering places and into the world around us.

As in all of our previous gatherings, are calling the body of Christ to gather, to pray, to repent and pursue healing because we know this to be true:

"When God moves in the Church, and the Church moves in the world, the Kingdom of Heaven comes. Every time."

We will gather from 7-9pm at 4855 Arctic Blvd to believe for God to do a miracle in our state.
